A sweet liqueur, very similar to an amaro but much more pleasant and with an intriguing flavor; typically Italian, it is a liqueur that has marked the history of Italian distilling. It is characterized by its quinine content, as it is produced through an infusion obtained by macerating the bark of the cinchona tree, traditionally known for its healing properties for respiratory ailments.

AGING
APPEARANCE Dark and opaque in colour, with coffee-like reflections. Colored with E150d, which is simply burnt sugar caramel, giving it a pleasant sweet aroma.

TASTE Very pleasant on the palate and on the nose, round and caramel-like. Bitter on the first sip, but immediately sweet and pleasant with a subtle note of amaro and orange.
